Counselling is a talking therapy which provides time and space to talk to a trained professional who won’t judge.

We will help you:-

  • Understand yourself better by understanding your thoughts and beliefs
  • Resolve or accept complicated or unwanted feelings
  • Recognise and change unhelpful patterns of behaviour
  • Difficult life events, such as loss and bereavement
  • Work related stress
  • Relationship problems.
  • Traumatic and upsetting events either recent or in the past
  • Stress Depression Anxiety

At the first session an assessment is conducted which involves asking you some questions regarding your issues taking a brief history of events and agreeing a focus for counselling.

Counselling session lasts up to 50 minutes and we will agree number and frequency of sessions at the start of counselling, this is regularly reviewed and can be adapted in line with your progress.

We offer telephone or online counselling, for those that have time or location constraints or prefer this method over meeting in person.

Online platforms available are Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Skype or FaceTime.
