We experience so many different events during our lifetime. Some bring us joy and happiness, and some bring us sadness, fear and anger. These things are often a result of natural events that we have no control over. Given time, we can let them go, so they can fade into our past to become happy or sad memories.
However, there are occasions when letting go just doesn’t seem possible. We can feel stuck, depressed, and anxious with thoughts like “I’m never going to get over this”. Having to manage day-to-day tasks such as going to work and dealing with everyday situations can feel almost impossible at times.
Sometimes we understand why this has happened, sometimes we don’t – we just know that this is the way we feel.
