Clinical Supervision for Counsellors
If you’re training to be a counsellor or you’re already a qualified counsellor, then the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) state that all counsellors must have a minimum of 1.5 hours supervision per month
I have a certificate in supervision and 9 years’ experience in case management, providing ad hoc supervision to counsellors.
I can provide supervision to both trained counsellors and trainees – even if you are not yet seeing clients, I am willing to negotiate concession rates for trainee and student counsellors
Supervision should be:-
- Supportive – helping you with your casework and…..
- Educative – helping with your development, professionally and personally, plus…
- Administrative – helping you with your administration, ensuring you are working both professionally and ethically.
Supervision can take place over the telephone, face-to-face or online
